There’s more than enough
Is there such a thing as abundance? Is there a limited amount of anything and everything? Or is everything in more than enough abundance?
It is a matter of perception – do you see the good in everything or the bad in everything. Or are you a line walker or a wall sitter? Take a look at our world in crisis – terrorism, hunger still exists, there’s still water shortages in parts of the world, natural disasters striking all the time. I could go on. Whether we like it or not, that is part of the abundance bundle. It’s all part of the movement of abundance that obeys only one law – we get out what we put in. The focus here is on the negative.
Now flip the coin on those crisis and you will see that there are countries and people uniting to resolve all those issues, in one way or another. They choose to create a positively abundant world. It’s a choice of perception.
The Law of Attraction
The choice to look at the “reality” of things reminds me of people talking about the Law of Attraction and the more than common statement of “It doesn’t work”. It’s not that it doesn’t work, it’s the fact that they are focussing on the wrong thing, on what they don ‘t want.
Then comes the reply,”But I am visualising and affirming and telling myself daily what I want. No, it doesn’t work!” But do they BELIEVE it, really really really believe it. And the hammer hits the nail on the head. “No!” comes the resounding reply.
What does this have to do with abundance? Everything. Everything is linked, intertwined in the fabric of the universe. If we think abundance we get abundance. It’s what kind of abundance we are thinking of that matters and whether we believe that or not.
Abundance is linked to prosperity. Just as important, it is linked to gratitude. You can’t get more without being grateful for what we have, however little that may be for now. At the same time, you can’t keep something that you are not grateful for.
Gratitude puts us closer to the creating power, that some of us call God, others energy and others universal intelligence. Whatever you believe in, understand that without gratitude what you have will soon be reduced, because we don’t value it.
It’s like our mind. We came into this world with it but we lack the understanding of how valuable it is, when used correctly. Either way, it is free. And we fail to value it for the great creative power it possesses, we possess (it’s our mind isn’t it).
Our mind has an unlimited abundance of what it is capable of creating. The only limitations it has are those that we place upon it. Just like the fact that our mind is limitless, and consequently so are we, so is abundance of all things.
If you doubt that look around you and realise how nature always gives back more than it took. A single cob of corn becomes a field of corn that multiplies it’s growth with more corn on the cob. One seed produces hundreds of it’s own kind.
Our abundance is the same.
What stops abundance
The only reason you may not feel abundant is because… you don’t feel it, you don’t believe it. You can’t be more than what you believe yourself to be, what you believe you possess.
How can you love when there is no love to give? If you don’t love yourself you can’t give love. If you don’t have any sugar, you can’t give a cup of sugar. First you have to have it before you can give it.
First you have to feel abundant before you can be abundant.
And to be that you have to cause your subconscious to not only believe it but feel it, get into the energy of it.
You do that by affirming to yourself that you are abundant. That it is your divine right to be so. That there is more than enough of everything in the world. That whatever you draw to yourself is a piecemeal of the all that is.
Affirm this to yourself as a daily mantra, a daily prayer. Understand that by repeating it your subconscious mind will eventually accept it as fact.
Remember that science has told us that neither energy or matter can be created or destroyed. It is only transmuted from one form to another. So nothing is ever lost. And nature forms part of that cycle, producing more than it took.
And the law of abundance follows the same natural laws – you get out more than you put in.
Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
